Farmer Field Officer

As the Farmer Field Officer, Emmanuel is responsible for implementing the organization’s Farmer Field School program designed to increase farmers’ productivity]and income from agriculture. In this capacity, Emmanuel mobilizes farmers and facilitates technical training and good business management classes while supporting farmers through the group formation process. Before his current position, Emmanual has volunteered with Rooted Wisdom since 2018 as the organization’s Community Field Officer. He supported youth in starting livestock businesses to improve income generation and skill-building. Before his time with the Rooted Wisdom, Emmanuel taught second grade and brings over 25 years of farming experience in traditional and sustainable farming.
