Women's Enterprise Training Program

The Women’s Enterprise Training Program supports disadvantaged Ugandan women in becoming self-sufficient by assisting them in every step of their economic journey, from generating ideas to starting businesses and finding sustainable employment.

The program centers around several key activities: classroom-based business lessons, vocational training, exposure visits, mentorship, and business start-up kits in the form of financial funding, and incorporates strategies that meet all learning modalities, including role play, case studies, drawings, and group work.

Rooted Wisdom Africa’s (RWA) programs are paving the way for women in rural communities by exposing them to many business ideas and the ability to understand how to manage a business through classroom learning. Many households are led by women who have never been trained, but these programs help them to start up new businesses that will sustain their families.
